All Boxed Up

I discovered an excellent video HERE for making a Baker's Box without the Die by using your Trimmer and a Score Board. I used Blackberry Bliss for the box above with a retired DSP Stack.
I put one of our new Metallic Foil Doilies behind the Tag.
I used Crisp Cantaloupe Card Stock for the second Box with retired DSP. The sentiment on the tag is from the Merry Everything Stamp Set which matches the Note Tag Punch.
I coloured the mini peg with a Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities Pen.

The three boxes above were made with Watermelon Wonder, Bermuda Bay and Cucumber Crush Card Stock. You can get all 3 colours in a mixed pack of Card Stock so that you get 8 of each colour for £6.50. The DSP is from the Cherry On Top 6 x6 Paper Stack. I used the All boxed Up Stamp Set for the sentiments and the Itty Bitty Accents Flower Punch for the embellishments.
The lush Lace Trim Ribbon is Watermelon Wonder.

Best Thoughts

I made two thank you cards today with the Hostess Stamp Set Best Thoughts. The base card is Coastal Cabana.
I stamped on it with the swirl from the Everything Eleanor Stamp Set. It is worth getting that stamp set just for the swirl!
The card on the left was coloured in with a Blender Pen and the one on the right with an Aqua Painter giving a softer effect.
Both of the sentiments are from retired Stamp Sets - Curly Cute and Thank You Kindly.

This gives you a quick sample of images from the Best Thoughts set which I have coloured in with a Blender Pen, Aquapainter and one is unfinished! This is a good set for quick and easy colouring. As Zentangle is all the rage at the moment then this might end up being a very popular set!

More Awesomely Artistic

Having been inspired by various Blog and Pinterest posts I have now had fun creating my own cards using the Awesomely Artistic Stamp Set. I stamped in clear Versamark and then heat embossed with white embossing powder for the first card.I then sponged on Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron Ink before stamping the dots in Delightful Dijon. Dazzling Diamonds Glitter was added to the flowers and Dragon Fly. i coloured the flowers in with Calypso Coral Ink and a Blender Pen.The sentiment is from Butterfly Basics.

I made these cards this afternoon and coloured in the tiny flowers with ink pads and a Blender Pen.
The colours in the first one are Rich Razzleberry and Mint Macaron. The colours of the second are Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Mint Macaron.

The Base Card in this card is Sahara Sand. Other colours used were tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder and Mint Macaron.

Awesomely Artistic

Three Blog Posts in one day is a record for me but I am catching up for being away at Jury Service for the first two weeks of June.
This post is primarily for those thinking of coming to my Awesomely Artistic Card Class on Monday, June 29th at 9.30am - 12.00pm.
The first card is a copy of the card which the Demonstrators made at the recent Regional Training Day in Telford. I decided to give it a miss this year as my youngest son's birthday was on the day after so we took the boys cycling in the Delamere Forest on the Saturday.
The colours used are Mint Macaron for the card base and Delightful Dijon for some of the stamping.
I like the piece of Burlap Ribbon to add a bit of texture.

I copied this idea from the internet HERE. One of my ladies ordered the Stamp Set last week (mine is on its way) and she came over and allowed me to have a go with it while she had a go with the Gift Bag Punch Board. I look forward to making some original samples for the Class as soon as my Stamp Set arrives this week.
The card base is one of the new In colours Tip Top Taupe. The other colours used were Blackberry Bliss and Blushing Bride.

Gift Bag Punch Board

I have been having fun playing with the new Gift Bag Punch Board. You can make three different widths of bag but the depth remains the same and the height can be up to 10 3/4 inches from a 12 x 12 sheet of Card Stock.
The first bag is using 12 x 10 inch DSP from the Paper Stack in Watermelon Wonder . I also used the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set and Framelits.

The sheet of DSP used for the second bag was cut to 12 x 11 inches. The DSP is Cucumber Crush and I used the Amazing Birthday Stamp Set. The red ribbon has retired but it gave it a very seasonal look.

The new In Colour here is Delightful Dijon. I used another sentiment from the Amazing Birthday set and I folded the top down to give a contrast. I got the idea from HERE.
I then added some Gold Sequin Trim to finish it off.

The last bag has a lid made in the same size as the base but cut down using the scallop edge of the largest Squares Framelit.
I dug out the Work of Art Stamp Set to make the Tag. I embellished the tag with some flowers punched out with one of the Itty Bitty Accents Punches.

Card in a Box

I have been on Jury service for the last two weeks. There is a lot of waiting around so I took the opportunity to do a couple of Make and Takes with some of the ladies there. One of them was the very popular Card in a Box. My sample is shown above.
I then decided to do the same project with the ladies who attended my Craft Day, here, last Saturday and they loved it.

This one was made using the new In Colour Cucumber Crush. The flowers were stamped with Watercolour Wonder ink. The striped paper is some of our new Envelope Paper which is a bargain at £5.50 for twenty sheets of 12 x 12.
The sentiment is from the Wetlands stamp set.

The next one one was made using some retired Paper Stack Paper in Rich Razzleberry.
The leaves were die cut using the Bouquet Bigz L Flower Die.
The sentiment is from the Petite Pairs Stamp Set.

The colour combination here is Mint Macaron for the card base, Watermelon Wonder for the stamped flowers and Cucumber Crush for the leaves.

I made the last one to give as a thank you to one of my ladies who had ordered from me.
