Watercolour Wings

Watercolour Wings is a Stamp Set that I was not going to buy until I started watching some of the Demonstrator videos on You Tube. Once I realised the tips and tricks to get the best stamping results I was smitten and ordered it.
I have also used the Awesomely Artistic Stamp set in the first card. The Gold Glitter was applied by putting a dab in a plastic dish, adding some water, picking it up with an Aquapainter and flicking it across the card. This technique was demonstrated by Brandi Barnard at the recent Stampin Up Convention in Utah.

I stamped and embossed the small Butterfly using Clear Embossing Powder. I then sponged Pool Party Ink over it to bring out the silhouette. The leaves are from the Awesomely Artistic Stamp Set.

I cased the next card from dostampingwithdawn. It opens out as a Tunnel Card and is very easy to make. I used the Hearts Embossing Folder from the Annual Catalogue and Lost Lagoon Ribbon which is on the Clearance Rack at the moment.

Here you can see the tunnel effect on the inside. I used Pool Party, Lost Lagoon and Bermuda Bay for the butterfly. I love the different colour combinations that you can do with this Stamp Set.

Sprinkles of Life and Tag Topper Punch

Next week I am doing a card class using the Sprinkles of Life and Cottage Greetings Stamp Sets and the Tag Topper Punch.
I used a colour combination of Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon and Bermuda Bay. I got the inspiration for the colour combination from the Cherry On Top Paper Stack.

I had fun deciding where to put the tags and working out how to size them correctly.
As you can see I used mostly the In Colour 2015 - 2017 Paper Stack for the Tags with the odd piece of Envelope Paper which is an easy substitute for DSP.

I thought that I would include an option using the Owl Builder Punch as I have not used it in a while and he is such a cheeky looking fellow that It seemed to fit in with the bright coloured DSP.

I then managed to work out how to make a box with the Envelope Punch Board thanks to Frenchie Stamps who explains how to do it.

Awesomely Artistic Wedding and Anniversary Card.

I have been looking forward to using the Awesomely Artistic Stamp Set for a Wedding or Anniversary Card and recently I had a chance to do both.
For the Wedding Card I stamped and embossed the Flower Wreath from the set in silver.
The Stamp Set for the dress and the sentiment is the retired Love and Laughter.
I used our Silver Card Foil Sheet to back the stamped image and I punched the hearts out of Silver Glimmer Card Stock  with the  Itty Bitty Accents Punch.

I stamped and embossed the Wreath background in the second card in gold. I then coloured in the flowers and leaves with Cherry Cobbler and Always Arthichoke Ink using a Blender Pen.
I die cut the 40 out of Gold Glimmer Card Stock and coloured it in with a Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities Pen. The sentiment and background were cut out using the retired Labels Framelits.

Cottage Greetings Card Kit and Sentiments.

I recently ordered the Cottage Garden Kit with the matching Cottage Greetings Stamp Set.
It took me less than 10 minutes to assemble one of each of the three designs.
I was amazed at how simple it was and how classy the cards looked when they were completed.
I am doing a Class on Wednesday, July 22nd 1.30 - 4.00pm using the Cottage Greetings Stamp Set.
We will be making 4 cards and a box with the Envelope Punch Board to put them in.
The box will fit C6 Envelopes and Cards. Let me know if you would like to join us.

All you need to complete the kit is some adhesive, ink and sentiment stamps.
At £14.50 it is a bargain as you make 15 cards for under £1 each.
The matching envelopes are top quality with silver paper liners.

The embellishments are all included in the kit and full instructions.

I was then inspired to make some 4 x 4 cards using the Cottage Greetings Stamp Set.
I traced the Whisper White base for the sentiment using the left overs from the silver tags in the Cottage Garden Kit. I then cut a 2" strip of coloured Card Stock and punched it at either end with the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.

These were quick and easy Thank You cards for my Customers.
