Sail Away Home

At my last Craft Day we used the Sail Away Home Bundle with the matching Memories and More Card Pack. I used a Blender Pen to colour the sea in the first card which has a Sahara Sand base.

The second card was cased from Pinterest. I used the retired Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings set.

A watercolour wash was used in the third card . This is the card that Demonstrators made at Convention in April.

I used one of the cards from the matching Memories and More pack for the last card. There is a great choice of Dies with this Bundle.

Gather Together Bundle

Next Monday evening I am running a class using the Gather Together Bundle from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue. The first card was my customer thank you card this month. I love Autumn and all of the beautiful coloured leaves. To colour the smaller leaves I used a sponge dauber to apply ink to the dies before running them through the Big Shot.

I love the colours in the Designer Series Paper that matches this Bundle. I used the Colourful Seasons stamps and dies from the Annual Catalogue for the second card. The background colours are Merry Merlot and Cajun Craze.

The third colour combination is Mint Macaron and Pear Pizzazz. I added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter for some extra bling.

The last card was cased from Julie Davison. I just used a different punch for the sentiment. I love the combination of Pretty Peacock and Early Espresso.

Back On Your Feet Pull Tab Cards

Thanks to Tami White for her inspirational video for fun cards using the Back On Your Feet Stamp Set. I used up some of my retired DSP for the cards. The first is in Melon Mambo.

When you pull the tab the card opens up to reveal another sentiment inside.

The giraffe is in Pumpkin Pie.

The last one is the tortoise in Old Olive.

The final card is in Daffodil Delight using the Butterfly Gala Stamp Set.

Southern Serenade

Two simple cards using the Southern Serenade Stamp Set which is sadly retiring. I found some retired Designer Series Paper and decided to make these two cards. Coastal Cabana is the main colour.

I love the simple sentiments in this set and the font that has been used. A great set for Beginner Stampers. Petal Pink is the main colour. Tiny butterfly from the Bold Butterfly Bundle.

Geared Up Garage

Recently I did a Class using the Geared Up Garage Bundle. I was not going to get this Bundle at first but when I saw the Dies and the Designer Series Paper I changed my mind. It will now be my “Go To” set for Men’s cards. Julie Kettlewell inspired the first two cards using the car as a background stamp as well as a main feature.

Change of background colours and Stitched Shape Die in the second card. Lovely background stamps in this set.

I used the Big Shot Embossing Mats for the background of the next card. Washi Tape adds extra interest.

It was good to use the oil can and tool box stamps and Dies with a Tin Tile embossed background and cogs cut out of the Designer Series Paper with the larger Die.

Needle and Thread Bundle

I love sewing so the Needle and Thread Bundle was a must have set for me from the Spring/Summer Catalogue. Sadly it is retiring but I will be using it for a session at my Craft Day on May 25th.

There are some beautiful stitched Dies in the Bundle which make great backgrounds.
I love the colour combo of Petal Pink and Calypso Coral as in the card above.

Powder Pink and Rich Razzleberry are the main colours in the next card. Lots of accent stamps and dies in this set.

The last colour combo is Coastal Cabana with Lemon Lime Twist. A simple greeting and a few Rhinestones to finish off the card.

Brushos

Next Monday I am doing a short demonstration for a local stamping group using Brushos.
I had great fun learning various techniques from You Tube videos.
The first card includes ultramarine and leaf green with silver embossing.
I used the Dandelion Wishes Stamp Set.

For the second card I die cut the flowers using one of the dies from the Abstract Expressions Bundle and used them as a mask. Colours included yellow, brilliant red and a spot of orange. I die cut the butterfly using the same set of dies after I had coloured the Cardstock with Brushos.

In the final card, I made the blue background  using ultramarine. The colour and texture made me think of a pond.Hence I diecut the dragonfly out of a piece of Cardstock that had been coloured previously.

Painted Seasons Bundle

I was inspired by Connie Stewart’s video to make a set of cards with the Painted Seasons Bundle. I have tweaked them a bit adding an extra card mat here and there and different embellishments.

I really had fun making these cards. They show off the beautiful Designer Paper to the max and would be easy to do multiples of.

Above is the autumnal paper with vibrant colours. It was fun to use Sponge Daubers to add interest to the leaves.
The last card does not use any Designer Series Paper but it is a quick an easy one for a Thinking Of You Card.

Flowering Desert

I got together with a couple of friends on Wednesday to do some stamping and we had fun with the Flowering Desert Stamp Set from the Spring/Summer Catalogue. I was inspired by a post on Pinterest but I can no longer find the photo so my thanks to whoever did the original card.
I used a Brayer for the background with Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody and then Poppy Parade at the top. The ground was brayered using torn paper and Mossy Meadow.

One of my friends had the clever idea of using two of the stamps in the set for the hat. I had to use the “Be your own kind of beautiful” sentiment on this card.

Happy Tails Bundle

I had to get the Happy Tails Bundle as the dog is very similar to my daughter’s dog Max who is adorable as you can see!

You can make such quick and easy cards with this stamp set and matching punch. The first dog has patches like Max. All the stamps used are in the set.

The second card uses a mirror image technique with the Stamparatus and a silicone mat. Francine Martin does an excellent You Tube Video. I used the fabulous Corrugated Embossing Folder for the Card Base.

In the last card my dog has a collar.I used the Stripes Embossing folder for the Real Red Card Base. I love the colour combo of Real Red, Black and White.

Forever Flowers and Meant To Be Bundles

I love the Forever Flowers and Meant to Be Bundles in the Spring/Summer Catalogue. I am doing a Class at my house this Saturday morning starting at 10.00am and next Monday evening at 7.30pm.
The first card uses one of the Forever Flowers Dies, some of the Designer Series Paper and the Stamp Set. Crumb Cake and Lovely Lipstick are the colours with a hint of Soft Sea Foam.

In the next card I have used the Corrugated Embossing Folder, the Rectangle Stitched Dies and the Meant To Be Bundle. This card was card from a You Tube Video by Kay Kalthoff. I added Grapefruit Grove Glimmer Paper which is one of the free Saleabration items with a £45 order.

The third card was also made using the Meant To Be Bundle with some of the matching Designer Series Paper.

The last card was cased from Jenny Moors. I changed the label for the sentiment to use a Die from the Climbing Roses Bundle.

Launch of Spring/Summer Catalogue and Saleabration

The Spring/Summer Catalogue launched on January 3rd. One of my “Must Have” Bundles was Needle and Thread. The above card was quick and easy to make. Ideal for the Casual Crafter. This is a great set if you like arranging flowers or enjoy needlework in any form. It has matching Designer Series Paper and Cardstock with some cute mini buttons and Old Olive Linen Thread.

The second card shows off some of the Designer Series Paper. This would be a good card for a beginner crafter who only has the stamp set. I used Real Red and Old Olive Inks.

The last card was made using the Forever Lovely Bundle. This was quick and easy too. You stamp the flowers and leaves and then die cut the flowers to go on top.
