Epic day This and That Scrapbook Page.

I had a Scrap and Chat evening, here, last Wednesday evening and we used the Epic Day This and That Designer Series Paper and the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp set.
The page is of my two younger sons Tim and Tom.
I made the Scrapbook page and then found the photos to go with it.
We used the Petite Pennants Builder Punch for the banner and the Chalk Talk Dies for some tags.

Summer Sihouettes Sympathy Card.

I made this card for a friend this week. Usually I use dark purple for a Sympathy Card but I thought that I would combine Rose Red, Gumball Green and Soft Suede for this one.
As you can see I used the Shadow Stamping Technique.
The sentiment is from a retired set called Close as a Memory which I use a lot for Sympathy Cards.
I finished it off with some Basic Pearls.

Epic Day This and That Cards.

My two youngest boys are off at a Christian Camp this week in Wales so I decided to make them a card each. They both love the Owl Builder Punch and so do I so it was an obvious choice.
I am doing a Scrap and Chat Workshop, here, tomorrow night using the Epic Day This and That Papers with Baked Brown Sugar Card Stock that is why I used them. The Hexagons can either be cut out of the DSP or punched out using the Hexagonal Punch.
The Happy Moments Stamp Set was used for the sentiment and the background for it was made using the Chalk Talk Dies which I seem to be using a lot at the moment as they are so versatile.
I could have stepped up the cards by using an embossing folder or a background stamp but as boys tend to like things plain and simple I decided to leave everything as it was.

Wildflower Meadow Bundle.

Magda, one of the  Demonstrators in my downline. came over the other day to compare product. I had great fun using her Wildflower Meadow Bundle and came up with a few cards.
The first one was a get well card for Amy who is another member of my team.
The monochromatic colour is Strawberry Slush and the sentiment is from the From My Heart Set of Stamps.

I coloured in the stamp using Stamp n Write Markers for the next card. I used Pretty in Pink, Wild Wasabi and Rose Red. I finished it off with some Rose Red Seam Binding Ribbon and some Rhinestones.

The third card is using one of my favourite colour combinations - Coastal Cabana and Gumball Green.
The sentiment is from the Happy Day Stamp Set. I cut it out using the Chalk Talk Dies. This time I used Pearls to give that something extra.
I hope that you enjoy these cards as much as I did making them!

Chalk Talk

The first card was inspired by one which Monica gave to my daughter. I have changed the design a bit but Monica used Chalk Talk for the centre piece. I added Papillon Potpurri and Flower Shop as well as the Polka Standard Wheel.
The colours used are Crumb Cake, Strawberry Slush, Bermuda Bay and Soft Suede.
The sentiment is from the Sassy Salutations Stamp Set.

Here is the inside of the card beside the cover.I did some background stamping with Flower Shop.
I gave this card to a friend's daughter who has just had an operation.I do enjoy making cards for individuals.

The last card is a Thank you card that I made for one of my customers. Again I used Chalk Talk for the sentiment and the matching Die to cut it out. The Magnetic Platform is such a boon to cut it out especially for the tiny hole at the top of the tag. I used the Floral Fusion Sizzlit for the flower and finished it off with a pearl. The embossing folder is Beautifully Baroque. The Card  stock is Cherry Cobbler.

3 Birthday Cards.

The first card is the one that I made for my son, Tim, who was 16 last Friday . I enjoyed using the Gorgeous Grunge set of stamps, Pedal Presents and Perfectly Penned for the sentiment. There is a sneak peek of the Burlap Ribbon from the Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue available from September 1st.If you look carefully you will also see some Linen Thread, a Vintage Brad, two Eyelets and even a tiny smidge of green Washi Tape (also from the new Catalogue.)

This is Tom's card for Tim. He really loved the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set. There is the Burlap Ribbon again. Petite Pairs was used for the sentiment. He loves the Owl Builder Punch and also the Penny Farthing Bicycle from the Feeling Sentimental Stamp Set which has now retired.
.

I made the last card for a friend of Aviva's who loves horses. The colours used were Baked Brown Sugar, Soft Suede and Early Expresso. I used the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder and more of the Burlap Ribbon!. Doesn't that make you want to order some? The sentiment is from the popular stamp set Sassy Salutations. I added a few buttons from my stash. The Horse Stamp is made by Magenta.
