Floral Affection Embossing Folder
As a Demonstrator we can pre order certain products from the new Annual Catalogue before it launches on June 1st. I ordered products from the Affectionately Yours Product Suite amongst other items.
I have used the two embossing folders in this suite for all of the cards in this post.
The sentiment stamp used in the first card is from the matching Affectionately Yours Stamp Set.
The card base for the first card above is Flirty Flamingo and the base for the second one is Peekaboo Peach. Both of these are new In Colours.
The sentiment in the first card is from the Perfectly Wrapped Stamp Set and the sentiment used on the second card is from Thankful Thoughts.
The last card is one that some of my ladies will be making at my customer Catalogue Launch Party tonight. I cased it from a card that we made at On Stage in Telford in April.

Botanical Builder Framelits Die
Below are two cards that we will be making at the Class.
I borrowed this set of Framelits off a fellow Demonstrator a few weeks ago to make a Banner for my Daughter's 21st birthday. I enjoyed making the banner so much that I had to buy my own set.
I decided to use some colours from the Subtles Family for these cards.
I sponged the centre of the flowers to add interest to the flowers.
I used a stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set for the background of the second card and then splattered it with some ink from the Wink of Stella Pen.
We made the third card at a Training Day that Monica Gale did for us a couple of months ago.
The butterfly was punched out using the Elegant Butterfly Punch. It was finished off with some splatters from the Wink of Stella Pen and some It's My Party Enamel Dots which are sadly retiring at the end of this month.

Party With Cake
Next Thursday Evening I am teaching a class using the P arty With Cake Stamp Set and the matching Pop Up Dies. I bought a pack of the It's My Party Card Stock to use with the co ordinating 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper Stack.
I love the "Calories don't count today" sentiment.
Monica Gale gave us a yummy bag of home made fudge at On Stage Telford and it had this sentiment on the front.
The next card is cased from the Spring/ Summer Catalogue.
The base is Mint Macaron. I have used It's My Party Enamel Dots on all of the cards as they add that all important finishing touch.
Here is the inside of the card with one of the Pop Up Dies. Washi Tape is useful for covering up mistakes even when it is retired product. I think that I might treat myself to some of the It's My Party Washi Tape before it retires on May 31st.
A good use of Designer Series Paper is to cover a card before you add the layers.
This was a very Quick and Easy Card to complete.
I was determined to use the Confetti Embossing Folder so I decided to pair it up with the very versatile Number of Years Bundle.
I coloured the Embossed Card Stock by inking it with Sponge Daubers.
I then used my Wink of Stella Pen to add a bit of sparkle to those numbers.

Birthday Banner
This is the Birthday Banner that I made for my daughter's 21st Birthday last week. I confess that I started it at 6.30am the morning of her birthday as I had been finishing off an 8 x 8 Scrapbook Album the day before.
It was relatively quick and easy to put together using the Banner Framelits,Botanical Blooms Thinlets Dies and the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set for the background. I stuck mainly to the Brights Colour Family.
One of the huge advantages of Stampin Up is that so many of the products are colour co ordinated.
Here is the Birthday Girl by her Banner.
This is her reaction to the Album. I have kept that 8 x 8 Creative Memories Album for several years waiting to complete it for her 21st Birthday so I was really chuffed to get it done and even more so that she really did like it.
Number of Years
I seem to have been making a lot of cards recently with the Number Of Years Stamp Set.
First up is a 90th birthday card. I used the retired Beautiful Baroque Embossing Folder.
The flowers were stamped and punched using the Petite Petals Stamps and matching punch.
The main colour is Perfect Plum.
The second card is one which I made for my husband to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary.
I love the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set and it goes so well with the Number of Years set for all sorts of celebration.
Smoky Slate is the main colour with some Silver Glimmer card stock for the numbers and one of the layers behind them.
The last card is one which I made for my daughter's 21st birthday last week. The colours used are Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Mint Macaron. I used some of the It's My Party DSP Stack.
