Last Class before Christmas

Here is the table set out ready for my last class of 2016. This was a Gift Packaging Class.
Candles and Christmas Chocolate Treats added to the atmosphere.

The Class included little Stockings that took two Celebrations, Roses or Heroes Chocolates.

We used the Gift Bag Punch Board to make a small Gift Bag that would take a Candle.

We used the Gift Box Punch Board to make a 4 x 4 inch box - the largest that you can make with this Board.

For the last box we used a Bundle from the new Spring/Summer Catalogue which is going to be released on January 4th. As a Demonstrator I could take part in the pre order and this item was first on my list! I absolutely love it. There are several variations of the box and the Stamp Set that goes with it is very versatile too.

Joyful Nativity

Here is a selection of the cards which I sent to friends and relatives for Christmas this year.
I love the Joyful Nativity set, especially stamped in Night of Navy on Whisper White with a hint of Silver Metallic Thread behind the angel.

I did a Baby Wipe Watercolour Wash as the background for the second card.
The star was embossed with silver embossing powder.

Most of my cards looked like this one.
I hope that everyone had a blessed Christmas.

Shaker Cards

Last week I had a Shaker Card Class at my house.
The first card was cased from the Stitched Shape Samples that Stampin Up gave us.
I love Whisper White and Pool Party on Christmas Cards.
The Joy to the World sentiment is from the Tin of Tags Stamp Set.

The next card uses the Candy Cane Designer Series Paper and a sentiment from the Stamp Set.
Thank you Tracey Allen for your inspiration for this card.

We made two birthday cards. The main colour in this one is Sweet Sugarplum. The sentiment is from the Designer Tin of Cards Stamp Set.
I have also used the Balloon Bouquet Punch and the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set.
You can watch the /you Tube Video HERE

The last card uses the Pop of Pink Speciality Designer Series Paand the Layering Love Stamp Set for the sentiment.

Stampin Up Notebooks for Craft Fairs or Presents.

I really enjoy using retired Designer Series Paper to cover Notebooks.

I also dig out a lot of Stamp Sets that have not been used for a while.
I love the Butterfly Dies they add a touch of Spring at the beginning of Winter.

The Petite Petals Bundle is great for adding flower embellishments.
The leaves below are a Die from the Rose Garden Set.

My Botanical Blooms Dies got dusted down too!

Small Notebooks go down well at Craft Fairs too.

Craft Fair Season is with us again and some items that sell well are Mini Crackers.
This year I found a video on You Tube for making mini Crackers out of Stampin Up's 6 x 6 DSP Stacks. I used the Warmth and Cheer DSP Stack and the Stitched with Cheer Stamp Set for the sentiments.
The coloured circles behind the sentiments were made with the Stitched Shape Dies which will not now be available to buy until some time next year.
The holly embellishment was made with the Stitched with Cheer Stamp Set and the Holly Berry Punch. A hint of Wink of Stella finished them off!

Craft Fair Items.

Last Saturday I had a table at a Craft Fair in Heswall. I made a number of Poppet Treat Holders that pulled out. I used the Cookie Cutter Bundle for this and coloured in some of the images with Blender Pens.

I enjoyed making these little houses with the Home Sweet Home Thinlet Dies. I left one half of the roof open so that I could put an LED Tealight in it.

It looked rather cute all lit up and would make a good decoration to hang from the Christmas tree.

The tealight hangs upside down from the roof.

Sleigh Ride Bundle

I have had some fun making cards with the Sleigh Ride Bundle recently. The first card was embossed using the Holly Embossing Folder from the Annual Catalogue. The holly embellishment is a stamp and matching punch from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue called Holly Berry Happiness.
The sentiment is from the Santa's Sleigh Stamp Set.

I cased the second card from Pinterest. I love watercolouring techniques.
The sky was sponged on to thick Whisper White Cardstock with Soft Sky Ink.

The last card is another case from the internet. Lots of sponging with Crumb Cake Ink on this one.The colour of the Sleigh is Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler

Cookie Cutter Bundle Treat Holders.

Last Week we had a Team Meeting and I made a Treat Holder for everyone using the Cookie Cutter Bundle. Inside was a packet of Chocolate covered Raisins.

The packet of chocolate raisins was easy to lift up out of the cover.
The sentiments were from the Stitched with Cheer Stamp Set.

Baby Bear

One of my Team Members very kindly let me use her Baby Bear Stamp Set from the Annual Catalogue. I started off with a Baby Girl card in Pink Pirouette on Crumb Cake with a little Early Espresso thrown in.

This had to be followed by a Baby Boy Card in Marina Mist on Crumb Cake.

Next up are two Christmas Cards with a little bit of Holly Embelishment on the first one.

The Sentiment Stamp Set and DSP in the second Christmas Card are retired but I liked the Cherry Cobbler Background with the Garden Green and a Gold Doilly in between.

Cookie Cutter Bundle Class

Last week I had a Cookie Cutter Card Class at my house and these are the cards that we made. The first one was cased from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue with the help of Monica Gale.
The leaves are stamped and punched with the Holly Berry Happiness Bundle.

The second card was inspired by one which I saw on Pinterest. The door of the igloo was made by die cutting one of the doors for the house in the Home Sweet Home Bundle. The Eskimo was coloured in with Blender Pens.

Here is the bear from the Cookie Cutter Stamp Set with some added Christmas Embellishments.
He could also be used for Baby Congratulation Cards.

The last card was cased from Monica Gale's Blog HERE. Her card was more embellished than mine!

Stampin Up Pretty Pines Dies

I have really enjoyed playing with the Pretty Pines Dies from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue.
I have made a Box and 3 cards as you will see. I plan on running a class in October or November to make these cards so let me know if you are interested in attending it.

I love a white background for a card like this. I decided to add a bit more interest and texture by running the card base through the Big Shot with the Cable Knit Embossing Folder.
The sentiment comes from the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set in the Annual Catalogue.

For the next card I used the Softly Falling Embossing Folder and the sentiment was die cut using the Christmas Greetings Stamp Set.

Above is the top of the box. I was inspired by a Blog Post HERE. I have used Gold Card under the pine cones to give a bit of extra bling.

The sentiment in the last card is from the Holly Berry Happiness Stamp Set. The border on the left hand side was stamped using a stamp from the Stitched with Cheer Set. I stamped and embossed in gold embossing powder with the Touches of Texture Stamp Set for some extra bling and then finished the card off with 3 pearls.

Basket of Wishes

I got the Basket of Wishes Stamp Set in my last order from Stampin up and I have to say that I love it  and it was only £15. I really enjoyed making these Thank you cards for some of my customers.
I coloured in the stamped images while watching Bleak House.

There are three basket images one of which is like a pick your own basket so I had to put strawberries in that one.

One of the Stamps has a yummy selection of Autumn Vegetables.
These were quick and simple cards to put together and I really enjoyed making them.

Stitched With Cheer Card Kit

This is a fantastic Kit which makes 18 cards, 6 each of 3 designs. The first photo shows most of what you get in the Kit. It comes with a detailed set of instructions, 2 needles and a needle threader.
The holes for stitching have already been punched for you and you get lots of gold thread to stitch with.

I love the matching envelope liners which make the cards look more classy!
Notice the little holly embellishment which is included in the Kit.

The matching Stitched with Cheer Stamp Set has 27 photopolymer stamps for £19 which is a bargain.
I used these stamps with the Tin of Tags Kit on page 33 of the Autumn/Winter Catalogue.
Notice the lovely gold dot embellishments on the card which finish it off nicely.

Tiny Pearls add the extra detail on the third card in the Kit. The Trees are dimensional as you sew two on together so there are 6 in all for each card.
