Work of Art.
I was not sure about this Stamp Set from the new Catalogue but once I started playing with it I was hooked.
Anyone can be artistic with this set. I combined Melon Mambo with Rich Razzleberry in the first card.
You will notice some shadow stamping.
The sentiment is from the stamp set. I added three flowers punched out with a soon to be released Itty Bitty Accents Punch. The flower is one out of a set of three.
The Work of Art Stamp Set includes a small circle and heart. I have used the circle to create the dotty background. I then used the Chevron Stamp in Rich Razzleberry. The Blossom Punch and the Elegant Butterfly Punches were also used.
Another dotty background in a new in colour, Lost Lagoon. Blackberry Bliss and Hello Honey also feature with the Chevron stamped in Mossy Meadow. The Itty Bitty Flower punch has appeared again! i know that this punch is becoming a fast favourite of mine.
One of the stamps was used to get the swirly flower effect. I have to confess that there are lots of cards like this out in cyberspace so thanks to all of those Demonstrators that created them!
The colours are Lost Lagoon, Hello Honey and Mossy Meadow.
Back to my own design this time and the heart stamp from Work of Art features here.
The Work of Art Stamp Set just cries out to be used for Shadow Stamping as you can see from most of the card samples featured in this post.

More Watercolour Technique Cards.
This afternoon I am holding another Watercolour Technique Class at my house. This Class will be repeated on Thursday, June 26th at 7.30pm.
We will be using a special marbling technique to colour some Whisper White Card Stock before using it to cover a Note Pad. We will then punch out some flowers using the Petite Petals Punch and use them on a card with the Flowering Flourishes Stamp Set.
The colours are Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo and the new Blackberry Bliss.
Peaceful Petals Stamp Set was used for the above two cards. I am so sad that this set is retiring at the end of the month as I love pretty Flower sets and this one is a favourite of mine.
You may have noticed that the Whisper White on the Tags has an Ombre effect on it. This was achieved with an Acrylic block, Ink Pads and a Water Spritzer.
Another Ombre effect achieved by sponging and Washi Tape.
you may have noticed three new in colours to be released on July 1st - Blackberry Bliss, Lost Lagoon, Tangelo Twist and Hello Honey.
Ombre effect again but this time with a Baja Breeze card base. The stamp set is Simply Sketched which is a retiring Hostess stamp set.The ink colours from darkest to lightest are Lost Lagoon, Baja Breeze and Pool Party.

Craft Fair Goodies.
One thing I love about preparing items for Craft Fairs is that I have some prepared goodies left over afterwards to give out to customers and friends!
Last Saturday I did a Craft Fair at Prenton Prep School.
It was not well attended as the weather was very wet.
The above boxes were made wiyth the Envelope Punch Board and you can see two owls made with our Owl Builder Punch which I love. I also used our Spiral Rose Bigz Die.
I got the instructions for the Votive Holder boxes from pootles.co.uk
Thanks to April, one of my Downline for the link for the Tealight Boxes.
The bows were made with the Envelope Punch Board.
Pootles to the rescue again with the chocolate bar treat holders. I used the Envelope Punch Board to make them.
I am hoping that you are beginning to get the idea that the Envelope Punch Board is a vital piece of equipment!
Bookmarks made using the Owl Builder Punch which I am glad to say is going into the new Annual Catalogue in July.
I used the Scallop Edge Border Punch for two of them with the tulips from the Blessed Easter Stamp which is not going into the new Annual Catalogue. :(
Hair grips with Petite Petals, Rhinestones, Candy Dots,Glossy Accents and Dazzling Diamonds.

Stampin Up Re-Inkers.
The two classes which I will be holding at my house this month will include a marbling technique using an unusual ingredient - Shaving Foam. I have reassured my husband that I will not be pinching his for the classes! The above card was made using the Flowering Flourishes Stamp Set with flowers punched and stamped using the Petite Petals Bundle. It was finished off with pearls and a butterfly punched out with the Elegant Butterfly Punch.
The colours used for the marbled background on this notepad cover were Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Gumball Green. More butterflies stamped with Papillon Potpourri and punched out with the matching punches. Island Indigo is the base Colour.
I used another piece of the marbled Cardstock on the front of a ring bound note book.
My 13 year old son, Tom, wanted a Notebook so it is now his. Being a young man now he did not want any further embellishment.

Men's Cards
Someone at our church recently lost his Dad so I sent the above sympathy card to him.
I used one of the Hostess Sets called Simply Sketched which has three images and three sentiments.
I coloured the image in with inks and a Blender Pen. The colours used were Early Expresso and Garden Green.
This is one of the cards we will be making tonight at my Men's Card Class.
I used the Reflection Technique with the Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set.
The Background on the card base was stamped using the Traveler Wheel and Gorgeous Grunge.
The sentiment is from Label Love punched out with the matching punch.
Thanks to Dawn Olchefske for the idea.
This time I used Painters Tape as a mask for the top and bottom of the Whisper White Card Stock.
I then sponged it with Marina Mist and Wild Wasabi Inks before stamping with the Oak Tree from the Lovely as a Tree set. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners.
I removed the Painters Tape and Tore the left hand side of the card before sponging it with Chocolate Chip Ink.
Thanks to Sandra Grimes.
