Butterfly Basics and Flower Shop

I cased the first card from one made by Shelli Gardner and Dawn Griffith. They have a video of how to make it - HERE .I adapted it for a very dear friend's 60th birthday which is today. I added the doily, the small butterfly and added a different sentiment from the Butterfly Basics stamp set.
I love the colour combo of Perfect Plum and Elegant Eggplant.

This card and box were made using the Flower Shop Stamp Set with the matching Pansy Punch.
The colour used is Pink Pirouette. I got the instructions for the box from HERE.We will be making these and other cards at my class next Thursday morning, April 16th. Let me know if you would like to join us.

Easter Card with Kinda Eclectic and Indescribable Stamp Sets.

An Easter card which I made using the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set for the sun rise. The sentiment is from the Trust God Stamp Set and the three crosses are a stamp from Heartfelt Creations.
I used Crushed Curry for the sun and I sponged with Sahara Sand and Crumb Cake inkfor the ground.

The second card was for someone's Baptism today.Easter Sunday is a good day to get baptised in the light of the Scripture in Romans 6 verse 4-5 "Therefore we were buried with him through baptism unto death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been united together in the likeness of his death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of his resurrection."

The Stamp used in the third card is called Indescribable Gift. It is a great stamp to colour in with Alcohol Pens. I had a go with a friend's Spectrum Noir pens. I still prefer Stampin Up's Blendabilities but sadly they have been withdrawn from sale because of production problems.
