Gingerbread and Peppermint Class

Last night we used the Gingerbread and Peppermint Bundle for my Online Zoom Class. I love the fact that the Dies cut out many images in the DSP. I used the Heartwarming Hugs DSP in the first Z fold card. Real Red and Old Olive is the colour combo. Here is a Youtube Video of the cards - https://youtu.be/IAHa-_rh5Jw

We made a Gingerbread house out of Cinnamon Cider Card Stock with some of the Gingerbread DSP and a roof made using Real Red Card Stock. The door was made using the second smallest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

I cased the next card from Connie Stewart. It uses one 6x6 piece of DSP. The white detailed Dies on the Cinnamon Cider background really do look like cookies. The snowflakes are from the So Many Snowflake  Dies.

Credit goes to Jenny Moors for the next card. I love the element of surprise when you open it.

Here is the inside of the card.

More Shaded Summer Cards

I really love this Stamp set and the sentiments that go with it. I used 3/4 inch strips of You’re A Peach DSP for the background in the first card. I used the Stamparatus and my Stampin’ Write Markers to stamp the flower. I stamped and heat embossed the small leaf on to the Vellum

The colours here include Melon Mambo, Polished Pink, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow. The Scalloped Contour Dies are from The Color and Contour Die Bundle. The Sentiment is from Art Gallery.

I used the same technique in the third card with Granny Apple Green, Shaded spruce, Highland Heather and Blackberry  Bliss ink pads. The Rectangles were die cut using The Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The background was embossed using The Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder from The Annual catalogue.

Stamping Technique with Shaded Summer Stamp Set.

I was inspired to try this technique by a Youtube Video that I watched by Alisa Tilsner who is a Stampin Up Demonstrator. It is really easy with The Stamparatus. You place the Card-stock in the left hand corner and ink up the stamp with The White Craft Ink. You then move the Card-stock 1/16 of an inch to the right and then stamp over the image with ink that tones with the background Card-stock. In the first card I used Melon Mambo. The hinge of the Stamparatus was on the left hand side.

The background Card-stock in the second card is Polished Pink. I used some Expressions Of Ink DSP for the background. I love our White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. The sentiment is from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set.

The third card is in Just Jade with more of the White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. The background DSP is from the Hostess Pack in The Annual catalogue. I added some Pearl Basic Jewels as an embellishment.

One Sheet Wonder with “Nothing’s Better Than” stamp set.

I really enjoyed doing a One Sheet Wonder with the Nothing’s Better Than Stamp Set from the Annual Catalogue. You can view my YouTube Video HERE - https://youtu.be/dxesthc2ohM I  used the retired Classic Label Punch for the sentiments in the first card. I adhered the Basic White Cardstock to an Early Espresso Mat and a Coastal Cabana Card Base.

The second card has a Petal Pink card base and an Early Espresso mat.

The third card focuses on chocolate!

I used the Give it a Whirl Dies for the next card with a Blushing Bride card base and the Love You Always Speciality Designer Series Paper.

The layers in the next card are Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Gorgeous Grape and then the stamped images on Basic White.

Lastly we have Pool party with Early Espresso.
