Alternative Cards using The Hope Box Paper Pumpkin Kit.

This Paper Pumpkin Kit is so much fun to do. The colours are bright and cheerful and the sentiments uplifting. I used one of the card fronts as a mask and coloured it using Blending Brushes.

The second card was cased from a YouTube Video by one of the members of Stampin Up’s Artisan Design Team. The front is one of the envelopes which was trimmed at the sides to open it up. The crease is covered by a strip of card stock from the flap of the envelope.

I used the large butterfly, which was supposed to be for decorating the box, as a stencil using a similar technique to the first card. The sentiment would be a great encouragement to people going through a challenging time.

The last card was cased from Stampin Up Demonstrator, Tami White. The stencil is adhered to some of our Window Sheet which has been cut down to size. It is see through Easel Card.

Merriest Moments Bundle

I think that this is one of my favourite Bundles in The Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue. It is great to vary the colours used. In the first card the colour combo is Blushing Bride with Smoky Slate. I also used some of The Whimsy and Wonder DSP and An Iridescent Snowflake with some smaller snow flakes cut out using The So Many Snowflake Dies from The Annual Catalogue.

This card is a Z Fold. The colours are Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce and Mint Macaron which is very similar to Soft Succulent.

Here is a card with some a Paper Piecing technique that I cased from Karen Titus. I used The Tidings of Christmas DSP from The Annual Catalogue. The Oval Punch came in handy for the sentiment!

The Eden’s Garden DSP is stunning with gold on one side of every sheet. I also used the dies from the set.

I used Sponge Daubers and various Ink Pads to colour the white embossed background for the last card.It was finished off with some of the gorgeous Wonderful Gems which have a bit of gold sparkle in them!

Gingerbread and Peppermint Class

Last night we used the Gingerbread and Peppermint Bundle for my Online Zoom Class. I love the fact that the Dies cut out many images in the DSP. I used the Heartwarming Hugs DSP in the first Z fold card. Real Red and Old Olive is the colour combo. Here is a Youtube Video of the cards - https://youtu.be/IAHa-_rh5Jw

We made a Gingerbread house out of Cinnamon Cider Card Stock with some of the Gingerbread DSP and a roof made using Real Red Card Stock. The door was made using the second smallest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.

I cased the next card from Connie Stewart. It uses one 6x6 piece of DSP. The white detailed Dies on the Cinnamon Cider background really do look like cookies. The snowflakes are from the So Many Snowflake  Dies.

Credit goes to Jenny Moors for the next card. I love the element of surprise when you open it.

Here is the inside of the card.

More Shaded Summer Cards

I really love this Stamp set and the sentiments that go with it. I used 3/4 inch strips of You’re A Peach DSP for the background in the first card. I used the Stamparatus and my Stampin’ Write Markers to stamp the flower. I stamped and heat embossed the small leaf on to the Vellum

The colours here include Melon Mambo, Polished Pink, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow. The Scalloped Contour Dies are from The Color and Contour Die Bundle. The Sentiment is from Art Gallery.

I used the same technique in the third card with Granny Apple Green, Shaded spruce, Highland Heather and Blackberry  Bliss ink pads. The Rectangles were die cut using The Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The background was embossed using The Pretty Flowers Embossing Folder from The Annual catalogue.

Stamping Technique with Shaded Summer Stamp Set.

I was inspired to try this technique by a Youtube Video that I watched by Alisa Tilsner who is a Stampin Up Demonstrator. It is really easy with The Stamparatus. You place the Card-stock in the left hand corner and ink up the stamp with The White Craft Ink. You then move the Card-stock 1/16 of an inch to the right and then stamp over the image with ink that tones with the background Card-stock. In the first card I used Melon Mambo. The hinge of the Stamparatus was on the left hand side.

The background Card-stock in the second card is Polished Pink. I used some Expressions Of Ink DSP for the background. I love our White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. The sentiment is from the Shaded Summer Stamp Set.

The third card is in Just Jade with more of the White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon. The background DSP is from the Hostess Pack in The Annual catalogue. I added some Pearl Basic Jewels as an embellishment.

Prized Peony Cards with Watercolour Technique.

I though that I would show you some different colour combo cards using the Prized Peony Stamp Set and a Watercolour technique. I used Watercolour Paper which was stamped with an Acrylic Block that I had inked up and then spritzed with water. I dried the image with a paper towel before stamping the peony in Marina Mist. The background colours are Smoky Slate and Seaside Spray. The sentiment is from The Art Gallery Stamp Set. I finished the card off with some Metallic Pearls.

The card base in the second card is Gray Granite with Blackberry Bliss. I coloured the stamped image with my Blends Pens to highlight it.

This stamp set is my “Go To’ stamp set for sympathy cards. the colour combo here is Basic Gray and Petal Pink. I cased this card from Pinterest and changed the colour combo for the first two.

Art Gallery Bundle.

I recently did an Online Zoom Class using The Art Gallery Bundle. The first card was very quick to make. I stamped on to some of the dsp and then embossed the image with Gold Embossing Powder. I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut out the stamped image.

The second card was part of a One Sheet Wonder. The card base is So Saffron with an Old Olive mat behind the stamped image.

I have used the Garden Acetate as an overlay with the dsp for the third card. I love the Pool Party Ribbon as it is so soft and easy to tie. The card base has been embossed using the Subtles 3D Embossing Folder.

The third card is a Gatefold Card with a Slide and Lock Mechanism on the front. I have done a YouTube Video HERE - https://youtu.be/f0EcO7Kay38

Ice Cream Corner

I absolutely love this Stamp Set and the matching DSP. It makes me feel happy with the bright colours and thoughts of Summer. The first card is a Gatefold Card.

Hinge Step Stamping with The Stamparatus and Hippo Happiness

The Stamparatus is great for many techniques including Hinge Step Stamping. I decided to use the sheep from The Hippo Happiness Stamp Set. The basic white rectangle that I stamped on was 4 1/8 x 1 1/8 to fit the decorative frame from The Ornate Layers Dies.

The colour combo for the first card was Coastal Cabana and Pretty Peacock. The second card is Gorgeous Grape and Highland Heather. I used the small flower from The Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set and punched it out with the matching punch.

The colours in the third card are Smoky Slate and Magenta Madness. The small flowers are a stamp and matching die from the Bundle. The sentiment is from The Friends Are Like Seashells Stamp Set. I stamped it on to the smallest Stitched Rectangle.

I love her colour combination of Bermuda Bay with Magenta Madness and Gorgeous Grape. I used Sponge Daubers to colour the flowers and The Subtles Embossing Folder for the background.

The second card was very quick and easy to make. Julie Kettlewell showcased it in a YouTube Video recently. I used The Quite Curvy Dies for the DSP and the Old World Embossing Folder for the card base.

The third card is a Quilt Pocket Card. The sentiment is from The Positive Thoughts Stamp Set.

I used our Watercolour Crayons to colour the flowers in the fourth card and then blended them with a Blender Pen. The sentiment was cut out using the Well Said Dies.
