Warm Hugs Stamp Set.

I love the Coffee mugs in the Warm Hugs Stamp set and the sentiments that go with them. The stamps go really well with the Heartwarming Hugs DSP  from the same Suite. I enjoyed doing Medallion stamping with this Stamp set. You can view my YouTube video of the technique HERE - https://youtu.be/xv4wcqLGRms

This is a good way to use up scraps of dsp. I stamped the mugs using the Stamparatus for the Medallion Stamping Technique.

Another lay out for scrap dsp which I cased from Pinterest. A variant of the Scrappy Strip Technique.

Another Medallion Stamping technique. I used the Detailed Trio punch for the corners of the dsp.

Origami Christmas Tree Card

I love playing with paper and ink so today it is paper, showcasing some simple Origami. I used the Designer Series Paper from The Quite Curvy Variety Bundle. the colours are Shaded Spruce, Cherry Cobbler and Sahara Sand. I used Glue Dots to keep the parts of the tree flat.

The second tree is in Sahara Sand. This time I did not use Glue Dots so that the tree looks more dimensional. The star was die cut using some of the Gold Foil Card using a retired set of Dies called Trim Your Stocking.

Plaited Paper Technique

I follow Song of My Heart  Stampers Blog and was inspired by the Plaited Paper Technique which Lyssa demonstrated recently. I used the Heartwarming Hugs DSP for the fist card with a sentiment from The For Unto us stamp set in the Holiday Catalogue. The Baubles are from the retiring Tag Buffet Stamp Set.

The second card uses papers and the bundle from the Coming Home Suite. I decided to stamp the trees from the set for a background.

This is copied from one of Lyssa’s cards. I added two Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper strips.

The last card is also almost the same as the one that Lyssa did. I really enjoyed this technique as it is very easy to do and makes an effective background.

In The Pines 1

I have really enjoyed using inking techniques with the In The Pines Stamp Set. I cased the technique for the first card from Barry and Jay at Mitosu Crafts. It looks like an Autumnal evening.

A different Technique was used on this card to create a birds eye view of a Pine forest. You can watch my YouTube Video HERE - https://youtu.be/1QNYWGuludw

This card was cased from the Annual Catalogue. I love stamping a sentiment repeated times to create a background. I cut up the gold ring using our Circle Dies.

A walk through the woods in Winter best describes the last card.

Most Wonderful Time Card Class in the post

This week I used the Most Wonderful Time Refill kit for my Online Zoom Class. If you live in the UK then please contact me for details of my Online Zoom Classes which I hold once every two weeks. You can view a YouTube Video of the class HERE - https://youtu.be/Yukf5aybXIc. We did a version of the Scrappy Strip Paper Piecing Technique for the first card. Real Red Gold and Old Olive compliment each other.

The Designer Series Paper in this Kit is gorgeous with gold foiling on one side. We cut the presents out of one of the sheets of Designer Series Paper. I lightly sponged the sentiment banner with some Pear Pizzazz ink.

I love the Deer Stickers in this kit. They look so regal and go well with the Designer Series Paper.

The Candy Canes are also stickers in the kit and they match some of the DSP. One tip is to rub the back of the stickers with an Embossing Buddy to remove some of the stickiness.

One Sheet Wonder with Peaceful Boughs and For unto us Stamp sets.

I was inspired by Ruth Trice’s Video to do a One Sheet Wonder. She had used The Life is Beautiful Stamp Set. I decided to use Peaceful Boughs from The Annul Catalogue with a sentiment from For Unto Us. You can view my YouTube Video HERE - https://youtu.be/KLCs_8fFjMQ I got eight card fronts out of one sheet of Very Vanilla Card stock.

I used Gray Granite for the Card Base of my second card. I chose card bases to match the ink colour that I had sponged with.

This card has a Cherry Cobbler card base with a Shaded Spruce Banner and a Copper Foil Stitched Rectangle to give extra bling to the card.

I used Copper Foil again here with Soft Suede sponging.

Real Red also goes with Shaded Spruce. I added some Red Foil Berries cut out with the Detailed Dove Dies.

Gray Granite card base again embossed with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder. Cherry Cobbler is a good contrast.
