Varied Vases and Hinge Stamping

I think that I first saw this technique demonstrated by Val Moody at a Stampin Up Convention a few years back, It is a great way to use this very versatile stamp set which is sadly retiring on June 2nd.

I have done a video on my Stamping Every Day Facebook page and also in my Fanny Stafford’s Happy Stampers Facebook group.

It is amazing how different the same card can look with different colour combinations.

Timeless Tulips

I have had great fun this afternoon playing with the Timeless Tulips Bundle from the Spring/Summer Catalogue. I am enjoying the tulips in my own garden so it is good to be stamping some too. I used the Tin Tile Embossing Folder for the first card which was cased from Pinterest. I love Bermuda Bay combined with Old Olive.

The second card was cased from Jenny Moors. I changed the colours a bit using Old Olive and Blushing Bride.

This is an example of Medallion Stamping. You can use the Stamparatus or stamp it by eye.
Soft Subtles are the colour combo for this card.

This card was cased from Pinterest. A simple stamping card. Stamped in Gorgeous Grape and Granny Apple Green.

Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green is the colour combo for the next card.

This card uses two tone stamping for the tulip flower and the sentiment.

The last card was cased from Jenny Moors. I just changed the colours to use blushing Bride nd Old Olive fr the flowers and sentiment.

More Scrappy Strips Cards.

I have really enjoyed using different colours and stamp sets with these Scrappy Strips Cards.
I used Designer Series Papers from Everything is Rosy for the first card. The stamps and sentiment are from the stamp set. The frame is from the Ornate Layers Dies.

I used the Above The Clouds Bundle for the second card with cooler colour tones.

It was good to dig out Daisy Delight for the next card. The leaves are from the Magnolia Lane Bundle.

Next up is Everything is Rosy again. The colour combo is Night of Navy with Melon Mambo.

The last card uses the Ornate Garden Embossing Folder, Designer Series Paper, Ornate Layers Dies and Ornate Thanks Stamp Set. Colours include Crushed Curry, Terracotta Tile, Pear Pizzazz and Petal Pink.

Scrappy Strips Card

I had fun today using up some CardStock by making Bruno Bertucci’s Scrappy Strips card.
I used the Budding Blooms Bundle for the stamped image and sentiment. I coloured the flowers in with the Blends Pens.

First you cut different coloured Cardstock into diagonal strips.

It is important to vary the angle. You trim along the 5 7/8 inch edge. About 4 of each colour.

I used Petal Pink, Grapefruit Grove, Soft Sea Foam ad Sahara Sand.

I then adhered them to a black rectangle of Cardstock measuring 5 7/8 x 4 1/8 inches and trimmed it to the size that I wanted for my card front.

Here you can see the back and the front.

Hold on to Hope Cards

Hold On To Hope is a quick and easy stamp set to make cards for men. So I decided to make some for people at our church. The Sea gulls are from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set.

The second card used more subtle colours - Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam.

Another portrait version.

Dino Days Bundle

Today I made a Pop Up Card for my Grandson’s first birthday next week. I used the Dino Days Bundle and matching Designer Series Paper. It was really fun to make.

I made these cards a while ago but I thought  that I would include them. Pretty Peacock is the card base colour with a hint of Mango Melody.

Here is the inside of the card. It can also be used as a Gift Card Holder. I cased the idea from the internet.

Here is a simple card in Flirty Flamingo which would be good for a girl.
