Hearts come Home and Night in Bethlehem

Lots of techniques in this class. The first is applying ink with an aquapainter on to shimmery white cardstock. The colours used were night of navy, dapper denim and bermuda bay. The starry effect is splatters of wink of stella. The stamp set is Night in Bethlehem.

A second Night in Bethlehem card using a sponging technique with pool party, and soft suede inks.
I added some rhinestones to the stars for extra bling.

Thanks to Monica Gale for the original card that this one was cased from. You can view it HERE. As you can see her card was done in Basic Grey. I wanted to use the gorgeous night of navy gingham ribbon. Whisper white re inker with water was flicked across the card with some wink of stella.

The last card was cased from a video on You Tube HERE. I used flirty flamingo, berry burst and fresh fig inks. The starry sky was made with tombow mixed with water. This was flicked across the cardstock and then I applied some dazzling diamonds for bling.

Season Like Christmas

Season Like Christmas class this morning and we all got very inky fingers.
First up is a rustic card using pear pizzazz, old olive  and soft suede ink pads with a bit of gold embossing to highlight the central tree.

The second card is stamped with old olive, garden green and soft suede. A bit of paper tearing adds to the rustic look with some rhinestones for bling coloured with the old olive blends marker.

Another simple single tree stamped in wild wasabi and garden green with cherry cobbler for the sentiment. I added some gold embossing to the baubles to make them stand out more.

Thanks fo to Michelle Last and Teri Pocock for the inspiration for this card. Always artichoke, garden green and early espresso were used for the trees. Pool party, pacific point and night of navy were used for the sky.

Painted Harvest

There are so many easy but eye catching cards that you can do with this set.
The first card is very simple but a touch of Gold Embossing with those tiny spots just finished it off.
Colours used for the sunflower were Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie.

I used gold Embossing Powder for the centre of the three sunflowers in the next card and for the sentiment. The gold Mini Sequin Trim just set it off.

This colour combination was the favourite with my class ladies -  Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Smoky Slate.

I loved the colour combos in the last two cards and I used these for my Customer Thank You Cards last month. Melon Mambo with Berry Burst in the first and Tempting Turquoise with Dapper Denim in the second.

Hearts Come Home Bundle

I held a class recently using the Hearts Come Home Bundle. We made a similar version of the card below which was cut out using the Lots Of Labels Framelits.
The sentiment comes in the set. I highlighted one house with red and yellow cardstock behind it.
The retired Gorgeous Grunge Set was used for the starry sky.

The second card is an example of a simple thank you card that you can make with the stamps.
It was cased from the Catalogue.
I love the plume of smoke stamp which adds character to the card.

The next card was the most popular in the class. I used the Seaside Embossing Folder for the layers of snow and applied Dazzling Diamonds Glitter with the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
The stars and moon were die cut using a Die from The Card Front Builder Set.

The last card was also cased from the Catalogue with an added white scallop oval frame added

Colourful Seasons

In July I ran a Craft Day and we used the Colourful Seasons Stamp Set from the new Annual Catalogue. This is such a fun stamp set and would be very useful for  Scrapbooking as well as Card Making.
Above are Spring and Summer Cards.

The second two cards are Autumn and Winter. I love the three snowflake dies that you get with this set.

In Colour Cards and Boxes.

Above are the new In Colours - Lemon Lime Twist, Tranquil Tide, Powder Pink, Berry Burst, Fresh Fig. My favourite is Berry Burst with Lemon Lime Twist a close second.
Which is your favourite?

The Daisy Delight Bundle has proved so popular that it is now not orderable until the week of July 3rd! This card was cased from Ann's Happy Stampers. She stamped her daisy on to Vellum and embossed it in white. It gave me a good opportunity to use up some scraps of the new In Colour DSP Stack.

The little boxes were a design that I was sent from ChicnScratch as I have signed up to her email list.
I used the Label Me Pretty Bundle which includes the Label Punch and matching stamps.
The last card is my own design and colour combo. I do love Berry Burst and those new Gold Faceted Gems which are now on back order!

Sheltering Tree Class

Sheltering Tree is a very popular Stamp Set and it has some great sentiments.
It has been good to get it out again to prepare for a Class.

I used the smooshing technique to make the second card which was inspired by Darla Watson.
This could be also used for a man's birthday card or a sympathy card.

Thanks got to Amanda Bates from the Craft Spa for the tutorial for the next card.
I used the blossoms stamp from the set to stamp the background.

Sadly the Baker's Box Die has been retired but some of my ladies have it and I love it so I got it out again!

Happy Birthday, Gorgeous

This was one of the Stamp Sets that I showcased at my Catalogue Launch events.
There are lots of great sentiments, flowers, leaves and 2 balloons in the Stamp Set and the matching die is awesome! You could just use the "Happy" or "Birthday" and stamp the rest of the sentiment.
The first card uses all of the new In Colours which I love.

One of my ladies made the second card at one of my events using Tranquil Tide for the Die Cut.

I cut out two Happy Birthdays in the next card so that the darker one would make the Powder Pink one stand out.
The butterflies are from the Papillon Potpourri Stamp Set cut out with the matching punch - both now sadly retired :(

You can see the balloon stamps in this card which match the Balloon Bouquet Punch.

The last card was cased from the Demonstrator Web Site where we are given numerous samples to use in our classes. The Die looks great cut out of Gold, Silver, Copper or Glitter Cardstock.

Happy Celebrations

I have enjoyed playing with the Happy Celebrations Stamp Set and matching Celebration Duo Embossing Folders.
My son and daughter in law have moved house today so the sentiment Celebrate New Beginnings was just right for a new home card for them.
I chose Bermuda Bay and Calypso Coral as the main colours and used the Watercolour Wings Stamp Set.

Above is a close up of one of the cards.
Next is a Happy New Baby Card. This one will be for a girl but I could easily do another in pink.

I cased a You Tube Video for the next Card. I used the Balloon Celebration Stamp Set and added some tiny gold stars punched with the Sprinkles Punch out of Gold Glimmer Cardstock.

The last card is cased from Andrea Walford who has done an excellent You Tube Video to demonstrate a technique for using Watercolour Paper and an Aquapainter or a Paintbrush.
This was the card that sold me the stamp set. It is a very useful set for quick and easy cards in an combination of colours.

Eastern Palace Suite

I recently ordered the Starter Bundle of the Eastern Palace Suite but soon decided that I needed the Framelits as well. I absolutely love this bundle now. There are so many different ways that you can combine the dies, stamps, papers and stickers..

In the above card I used one of the larger Framelits on Very Vanilla Cardstock before stamping to decorate it. I used Old Olive and Fresh Fig Cardstock.

The third ard was cased from Dawn Griffiths from a You Tube Video.
Gold Cardstock goes very well under the Tranquil Tide Medallion.

The last card was also cased from You  Tube. I used a Stitched Square Framelit as a backing for the sentiment. I love the sentiments in this stamp set as they can be used for many different occasions.

Pretty Kitty

I enjoyed playing with the Pretty Kitty Stamp Set recently.
I used the Falling Petals textured embossing folder for the background.
I coloured the image in with Stampin' Write Markers.
The sentiment is from the Avant Garden Saleabration Stamp Set.

The Seaside embossing folder was used for the second card on Bermuda Bay Cardstock.
The sentiment comes from the stamp set.

These two cards are thank you cards for my customers. I used the Jar of Love stamp set for the floral accents.
I really enjoyed using this stamp set. The images are so cute and can be used for many occasions.

Baptism Card

Last Sunday three people got baptised at the church that we attend.
i made them all a card using the Jar of Love Stamp Set with the retired Blessed By God Stamp Set.

Window Shopping Bundle

Recently I decided to make a pop up card for a friend's 70th birthday. I used some of the Saleabration Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Cardstock for the 70.

This was a fun card to make and I liked the colour combination.

Here is a box made with the same bundle by one of my customers at a class.

We also made birthday cards using different dies in the set.
