To You & Yours Shaker Cards Project Kit
I enjoyed making some Shaker Cards with my Daughter-in-law last Week-end. Stampin Up have got an amazing Shaker Card Kit in their Autumn/Winter Catalogue this month As a Stampin Up Demonstrator I had the opportunity this month to pre-order items from the catalogue so this kit was near the top of my list.
There are 18 cards in all, 6 each of 3 designs.
The kit includes lots of sequins, stickers, Baker's Twine with red sparkle and quality cards and envelopes.
I added a coloured mat behind each image to add some extra colour. The new Fine Tip Glue Pen, available to customers from September 1st, was a boon for adding the sequins to the Tree.
I used a stars stamp from the Winter Wonderland Christmas Stamp Set which is also in the new Catalogue which launches on September 1st.
I am having an Open House next Wednesday, August 26th from 10.00am - 4.00pm.
I will be selling off some retired Stamp Sets and other Craft Goodies.
There will be Tea, Coffee, Home Made Cake and a free Make and Take.

Awesomely Artistic Wedding Card.
I made this card for a very special couple who got married today.
I used the flower stamp from the Awesomely Artistic Stamp Set, for the background, embossed in gold and coloured in with a Blender Pen and ink pads.
The wedding couple is a Lily of the Valley stamp which I coloured in with Promarkers.

Watercolour Wings Mini Album.
This Wednesday I am running a Class to make a Watercolour Wings Mini Album.
I discovered this Album on You Tube with instructions by Jenni Pauli HERE
I decided to make it up in subtle colours using the Watercolour Wings Stamp Set.
The sentiment on the front of the album is from the Feel Goods Stamp Set.
I used the Deco Labels Framelits to cut out the sentiment and the mat for it to go on.
Here is a photo of the inside of the album. The sentiments are from a retired Stamp Set called Loving Thoughts.

More Watercolour Wings.
I am still enjoying playing with the Watercolour Wings Stamp Set. I cased the idea for the first card from Julie Kettlewell HERE. i love her colour combo but I decided to change it to Calypso Coral, Blushing Bride and Basic Black. The sentiment stamp is from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set.
The second card is cased from Julie HERE. I have changed the lay out of the card and the embossing. I have also done a Monarch Butterfly which was demonstrated by Patty Bennett.
The last two cards are cased from the South Pacific Convention earlier this year using two of the new In Colours Tip Top Taupe and Mint Macaron. I have added some dots and glitter and different sentiments.
